Every Tuesday, a gang of East Van’s finest take to the local lanes for a few round of God’s game – also known as Bowling.
Now, I’m the first one to admit, that while I am athletic by nature, and good at a great many sports… (well a few in particular), I am a TERRIBLE bowler!!
On occasion, to stave off boredom, and lighten up the crowd of onlookers, I call on one of my lesser known skills “gymnastic bowling”
Believe me, no one is more surprised than I am when I actually knock down some pins 😉
In any case, our weekly game got me to thinking. What sort of exercises would help someone to become a better bowler? Okay, well maybe better is too broad a term. This routine will at least help you become a stronger bowler.

Plank with Arm Lift
Dumbbell Military Press
Tricep Kick Backs
Toe Roll Iso Lunges
