The Who, What, Where, When & Why of my fitness regime

I spent last week in LA & Vegas shooting new content, assisting Steve on shoots, and attending Viva Las Vegas
By far my fave workout of the week took place in The Standard Hotel.
With it’s wood paneling, plaid carpets, and pictures of Lou Ferrigno, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Wonder Woman, it was impossible not to feel at home in their large fitness centre . (The selection and quality of equipment, free weights, and flat screen TV’s didn’t hurt either.)
Our week was full of crazy experiences, late nights, meals out, and lots of arching and posing for photos (which always leave me sore the next day). Suffice to say, while I didn’t want to skip my work out outright, I wasn’t feeling as strong as usual.
Instead of the usual 10 sets of 10 exercises, I did a descending circuit beginning with 10 reps and working down consecutively to 1 set of each exercise, in the tenth round. It still felt wicked hard, but knowing that I had one less rep to get through each round, kept me going at full strength, until the end.
