Work Out Wednesday – Step It Up

Step it up



My lil sister came to visit for a week, so I had a partner in crime for my work-outs!
Of the many we took on, this one was one of the simplest, but most effective.

Descending Step ups with Clean & Jerk









Left leg step up
Right leg step up





Weighted Clean & Jerk



















Begin with 11 reps of each exercise, then drop one from each set, until you get to one, for 11 total sets.   i.e. 11, 10, 9, 8… and so on…


My favourite part of this work out is the feeling you have as your number of reps get lower and lower.  As difficult as it is, the count down makes it feel like you’re killin it!
