Work Out Wednesday – Glory to the Booty

I first completed this routine back in January, with my friends Rin & Meshell…  

However, when it comes to fitness, I tend to think that anything worth doing, is worth doing twice, so I repeated it this week!

(I also think you should buy one of each colour of those rad pair of pants that make your bum look amazing.  But that’s another story…)




Here’s our version of the BodyRock work-out



30 High Knee Skips
15 Lunge kicks each side
30 High Knee Skips
20 squats 
30 High Knee Skips
25 V sits*
2 min Plank*
*We repeated the entire work out twice through, but substituted 50 Obliques & 25 sit up for the V sits and plank exercises

As you can see, the girls and I worked out together, but stayed true to our own level of fitness. We took breaks as needed, and slowed down when necessary.  
I wanted to share this video with you, to show that it is more important to find work-out partners that are like-minded, rather than equal to your own skill level.  The great thing about working out with friends is that somedays you will carry them, and other days they will carry you!  There is strength in numbers, and really, isn’t strength what this is all about?!?
