When it comes to Raquel Reed, modelling is just the tip of the sparkly tiara.
The runway darling, MAC make-up professional, singer, burlesque sensation, and Pin Up queen is the new American Dream.
From a young age, Raquel was drawn to “bright girly colors, candy & cartoons”. These things not only inspired her daring and splashy style, they also gained her legions of fierce fans, and the attention of stylists the world over. Often imitated, but never duplicated, Raquel remains a true fashion and style innovator.
She has walked runways for Ed Hardy & Patricia Field, modelled for New York Couture, Lady Lucie, and Mishka NYC, and graced the pages of Auxilary, and Alt Magazine, Tattoo life, Rebel Ink, and Bizarre.
A long time fan, I was super excited to find out she would be at the 2011 Ink N Iron Tattoo Festival, as a contestant in their highly anticipated Beauty Pageant. I tweeted her immediately, and when she messaged me back I nearly died! Sweet, stunning, and completely down to earth, meeting her was a delight.
Wearing a hot red dress, with hair to match, Miss Reed won the coveted Ink N Iron Beauty Pageant, stealing the show with her unique brand of poise and glamour.
