It’s not as egocentric as it sounds…
Fang Ling Lee
“A strikingly strange and unconventional, sometimes capricious, always exquisite artist. Specializing in sensual portraiture, and erotically charged paintings.”
Fang Ling Lee has exhibited independently in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and New York. Having established herself as a progressive artist with a successful niche in the adult industry, admirers of Fang Ling Lee’s work now span from private collectors, to a wide range of public personalities; including notable names like Jenna Haze, Sasha Grey and the Sorrentinos from the Jersey Shore TV show.

I first became acquainted with Fang Ling Lee’s art in November 2011, while attending the New Jersey EXXXOTICA convention. A long time participant of the event, Fang had a beautiful display set up, which highlighted her unique and captivating art.
As is common at these shows, Fang’s items sold out quickly. So fast, in fact, that I didn’t get the chance to pick one up, before they were all gone…
Fast forward to 2012:
Not only was I still obsessed with her paintings, I was so excited to get my hands on one, that a) I had my favourite as the desktop image on my computer b) I wrote to Fang to tell her I was coming by.
As usual, the weekend picked up momentum early, and I was starting to worry I wouldn’t make it out to Fang’s booth in time, when my lovely boss Steve Prue came lumbering into the production office with a package tucked under his arm… It was a framed copy of “Hurts” just for me.
Later, at the official EXXXOTICA after party, I had the pleasure of catching up with the lady herself. Having followed each other on social media for the past year, there was lots to catch up on, and even something unexpected; Fang confessed to being a fan of my work! That’s right, coming up in 2013, expect to see a new piece from Fang Ling Lee featuring yours truly as the reference!
As the night went on, we also talked about the launch of her new website, and her goals for 2013. In the end, we were so in synch, and had so many great ideas flowing, that we decided to work together! Strategic marketing for Fang Ling Lee is now being handled by my intern Avery Lane & I. We have Skype meetings once a week, and collaborate on all matters related to social media, apps, press, and branding. It’s been an incredible experience for all involved, and I can’t wait to see what we get up to next!
