Tita Tuesday – EXXXOTICA Gives Back

It’s not as egocentric as it sounds…

I spent the past week in NYC, meeting up with friends, shooting new content, meeting fans, and working with the gang at EXXXOTICA.

Exxxotica is the largest event in the USA dedicated to love and sex

Hot on the heels of Hurricane Sandy, this year’s event almost didn’t happen.  New Jersey was decimated by the massive storm, that left parts of the State under water and/or without power for days.  The city of Edison, home to the annual Exxxotica event, managed to maintain power throughout the ordeal, but the New Jersey Convention Centre sustained major damage, and required a near complete renovation following the storm.

After realizing that the show could do the residents of New York, and New Jersey a great deal of good, organizers decided to go ahead with November 9-11th event. A decision that was met with incredible enthusiasm, and much appreciation.

To raise funds for displaced residents, and to aide those running short on supplies, Exxxotica launched a major donation drive, entitled “Exxxotica Gives Back”.  Stars, directors, and personalities from the adult industry, donated their time, and supplies, whipped out their pocket books, and even gave blood, to assist with the relief efforts.

When the show floor opened on Friday, crowds came out in droves, and they didn’t come empty handed.

Not only did the three day event go down as planned, Exxxotica Gives Back raised almost $5000 towards Sandy Relief projects.

This week’s post was going to be all about the adult stars I’ve met, as well as the ones I count as friends.  However, after witnessing the selfless acts of generosity, unwavering support, and incredible strength that was present across New York and New Jersey this week, I knew I had to feature those fantastic things instead.

The show may be over, but the need for assistance is still going strong.

Do you love it?!?
