Work Out Wednesday Returns!

Here’s a lil slice of what I got up to last night in my home gym:

I’ve seen my fair share of illness and injury in the past couple of years. Like anyone, my body doesn’t always behave the way I’d like it to – and neither does life for that matter!  I’ve definitely had moments of feeling discouraged (and times where I was downright sh*tkicked!) but here I am, learning, and growing, and gaining all over again.

While I have yet to reach the fitness level I am accustomed to, I know my lack of co-ordination and balance will pass and that regaining strength, and re-learning movement patterns might even be fun!

As with many things, the hardest part is getting started. I have had the great fortune to lean on my friends, and mentors, as well as an incredible book called “Create Now” by Marlo Johnson.  These peers helped me keep on track, practice patience, and get my engine stoked. Last but not least, I’ve had y’all to motivate me via social media and that has helped immeasurably!

For those of you who have been following for some time – Thank you! Thank you for sticking this period of inactivity out with me. It’s been a long time coming, but I feel better every day, and can’t wait to be better than ever!
